Orkla Brands Russia was named “Company of the Year” at one of Russia’s most prestigious business events. 

Orkla’s Russian chocolate company won the award in the “Chocolate and Confectionery” category. The other nominees were United Confectionaries and Ferrero Russia.

“Winning such a prestigious competition is very significant for us. In the past year, we have invested a great deal of effort in adapting our branded goods to today’s market, while preserving the legacy and traditions of earlier generations. This is an important recognition of the work we have done so far, and motivates us to achieve new goals on the chocolate market,” says Vadim Ter-Israelyan, Managing Director of Orkla Brands Russia.

The annual national "Company of the Year” award ceremony is well-known as one of the most significant events in Russian business and industry. Some 250 companies operating in a total of 57 different categories were nominated for this year’s contest. A board of experts comprising representatives from the business sector, government authorities and public associations select the award winners. The awards are presented to prominent, dynamic companies that can demonstrate profitability, good growth, stable market positions and compliance with international business standards.
