Kolding Salatfabrik sold to Wernsing Scandinavia

An agreement has been concluded on the sale of Kolding Salatfabrik, effective as of 1 February 2013. The buyer is Wernsing Scandinavia. 

Under the agreement, the principal shareholder Dragsbæk, together with co-shareholders New Food Kolding and Skovsgaarde Aps are to sell 100 per cent of the operations in Kolding Salatfabrik to Wernsing Scandinavia. Kolding Salatfabrik had 40 employees at the end of 2012.

The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.

Kolding Salatfabrik was founded in 1947 in Kolding. The company produces mayonnaise-based salads, mayonnaise, remoulade, dressings and sauces, and exports to Sweden, Spain, Germany, Russia and other countries. Dragsbæk has been the principal shareholder in Kolding Salatfabrik since 2007.

The new management of Kolding Salatfabrik consists of Managing Director Johannes Nielsen and Sales Director Leif Østergaard.
