Fresh pasta made from vegetables and a brand-new pizza brand are some of the many new products launched by Orkla.
Store shelves are now being filled with many new products. This autumn’s latest food offerings include a new type of fresh pasta from TORO, made from dough with a 40% vegetable content. The pasta is available in a variety of flavours, such as broccoli and peas, carrots and cauliflower.
“September is a major product launch window, with several exciting innovations from the Orkla companies. The new Pizzabakeriet brand offers a crisp, light Italian crust made from tipo 0 flour, setting a new standard for frozen pizza,” says Arve Heltne, Senior Vice President Orkla Marketing & Innovation. “With SaritaS Tikka Wrap Kit we are raising the bar for Indian food and challenging Norwegians’ favourite taco evenings.
Easier to choose healthier food
“The health trend of less salt, saturated fat and sugar is still strong, along with the naturalness trend. We’re now launching FUN Light Green, a sugar-free cordial with natural colour and 100 per cent natural sweetener from the Stevia plant,” Arve Heltne says.
FUN Light Squeeze is another tasty little sugar-free innovation that is perfect when you’re on the go.

Innovative news from the washing product shelf
Laundry detergent capsules from Blenda Sensitiv and OMO are some of the new products worth noting. Based on a new technology, OMO Power Dose combines colour-preserving and stain-removing systems in practical single-use capsules, making laundry simple for consumers.
Focus on design
“Several of the launches feature an innovative use of design. Examples of this are Sunsilk Limited Edition shampoo and conditioner, with a design inspired by trendy colours and patterns, and a new variety of Naturelle hand soap,” explains Arve Heltne.
“Pierre Robert focuses continuously on design, and will be introducing a number of major new products, including wool T-shirts, hats and gloves, in its Wool Collection and an entirely new design for its wool sport collection,” he concludes.
Tasty new snacks and chocolates
Orkla Confectionery & Snacks is tempting consumers with new offerings like Smash! Kuler (salted, chocolate-covered corn balls), Skipper Salte Ubåter (salty liquorice submarines) and Crispo Kuler (crispy milk chocolate balls). Stratos will also be launching Melky, the first milk-filled chocolate without palm oil available on Norwegian store shelves. KiMs is offering a new range of crisps featuring flavours developed in collaboration with a prize-winning cook.
