Orkla ASA and the Nobel Peace Center have entered into a partnership contract for a further three years. This contract involves payments from Orkla for Peace Center activities of a total of NOK 9 million.
”Orkla has been a committed, secure support to us since 2007. The fact that they are renewing this contract is very gratifying. This is both a major declaration of confidence in and a recognition of the work we do. This partnership gives us the opportunity to continue developing unique exhibitions and public activities,” says Bente Erichsen, Director of the Nobel Peace Center, in a joint press release.
”We want to continue helping the Peace Center to ensure it has plenty to offer to a wide audience. The name of Alfred Nobel and his Peace Prize are linked with values we need in the world. The Nobel Peace Center has a strong, international name, and Orkla has every reason to be proud of the arrangement and activities implemented by the centre,” says Hilde Myrberg, Executive Vice President at Orkla.
