Gravberget Manor

The manor, built in 1858, has always been at the hub of forestry management operations in the vast forested areas in Gravberget. It is located in one of the most sparsely populated wooded areas of eastern Norway, yet close to large population centres.

Gravberget Manor is located at the northern end of Finnskogen (the Finn Forest) in Våler Municipality, towards the Swedish border about 50 km from Elverum and about 200 km from Oslo.

For almost 100 years there was a church hall on the second floor of the main building, which also housed a school in its earliest years (1858-70). A log cabin on the estate served as a post office and store from 1906 to 1957.

The main building comprises a kitchen, two dining rooms, two sitting rooms with fireplaces, offices and sleeping accommodation for 18 people.

Gravberget Manor is the ideal location for outdoor recreational activities, where guests can fish, hunt, pick berries or simply hike through the woods. The Finn Forest also offers a unique setting for courses, conferences and company events.
