Environment, health and safety are one of Sapa’s fundamental strategic pillars. The Lost Work Day Rate (LWDR) and the Total Recordable Rate (TRR) are reported every month, along with a detailed description of all injuries and the factors that caused them.
Sapa has developed new products with special environmental properties for the automotive and building markets, including materials that withstand high temperatures in order to meet the requirements of future emissions regulations for the automotive industry, and energyefficient building solutions.
