Orkla supports the Global Compact and the principles laid down in this UN initiative.

In addition to our CSR report, we consider the contents of this special Global Compact section of www.orkla.com our "Communication on Progress" (COP).

We want all stakeholders to have confidence in Orkla's commitment to stay responsible, transparent and reliable in our behaviour. We will gradually update and fill in more relevant information on our CSR efforts in this section of our homepage.

Human Rights

Fundamental human rights are a universal entitlement, and support for these rights is one of the cornerstones of Orkla’s general value base.

Labour Standards

We support the fundamental standards for working life set out in the ILO conventions.

Environment

Orkla operates in many different sectors. Our businesses have an impact on the environment at every stage of the value chain, from the production of raw materials to the end user’s management of waste.

Anti-Corruption

Value creation at Orkla must take place in accordance with our Code of Conduct, which also provides the basis for our relations with all important stakeholders.
