Heyerdahl leaving Orkla
29.03.2004: Jens P. Heyerdahl d.y. has today informed the company that he wishes to cease working for Orkla and move from his office in the Orkla building. He says that his decision is due to his desire to contribute to calm and protect Orkla's long-term value base.
President and Group CEO Finn Jebsen says that he understands and respects the reasons for Mr Heyerdahl's decision and hopes that it will help to promote a climate of calm around the company.
Mr Heyerdahl will move from his Orkla office in the course of about two weeks. His financial conditions will remain unchanged. Reference is made to previously published information on the latter.
