The biscuit brand Bixit is golf star Suzann “Tutta” Pettersen’s new partner.
“When I was growing up, I always took Bixit along on walks. Today I still use Bixit when I’m on the go. When I was asked to be a Bixit partner, it was a very easy decision, because Bixit is a good Norwegian brand that I believe in,” says Suzann “Tutta” Pettersen, commenting that the biscuits are an even better choice now that the palm oil in the biscuit is being removed.
Bixit is one of the best-known biscuit brands on the Norwegian market, and is manufactured under the umbrella brand Sætre, which is owned by Orkla Confectionery & Snacks Norge.
“We are proud of and delighted by our new partnership with Suzann Pettersen. She is a fine person with good values and tough goals. Bixit is a positive and powerful energiser that inspires and puts you in a good mood, just like Suzann Pettersen,” says Anna Storaker, Marketing Manager at Orkla Confectionery & Snacks Norge.
The golf star will have a role in Bixit’s new advertising film, brand activation in other media channels and in-store marketing materials.
“Like Suzann, we as a Norwegian company are exposed to fierce international competition from the very best and biggest rivals. Suzann’s achievements are proof that it is possible for Norwegian players to compete successfully. This is very inspiring for our employees, whether it be a question of grocery shelf battles, work at factories or other activities aimed at strengthening our operations and our brands,” says Communications Director Robert Rønning.
Geir Olav Killingstad at SPM AS, Tutta’s management company, is very enthusiastic about her partnership with Bixit. “Tutta and Bixit share many of the same values. The fact that Orkla is now eliminating the palm oil in Bixit makes the biscuit brand a product that Tutta can back unreservedly, and that she can actively enjoy in her daily activities both on and off the golfcourse,” he says.
