From the same date, the business area will become part of the area of responsibility of Executive Vice President Atle Vidar Nagel Johansen, in addition to the responsibility he already has for Supply Chain.

“Atle Vidar has long experience and can demonstrate solid results. Under his leadership, I am confident that the business area will be well positioned to create organic growth through innovation and brand-building going forward,” says Interim President and CEO Terje Andersen.

Nagel Johansen has served as Executive Vice President Supply Chain since 1 October 2018. He has been a member of Orkla’s Group Executive Board since 2012, as CEO of the Orkla Foods business area. Nagel Johansen joined Orkla in 1993, and has held a wide range of management positions in the Group.

As EVP Orkla Care and Supply Chain, he will continue to report to Interim President and CEO Terje Andersen, as at present.

Lasse Ruud-Hansen

Lasse Ruud-Hansen (39) has served as Interim Executive Vice President Orkla Care since 1 February 2019. As of 1 June, he will become Senior Vice President Business Development (SVP BD). His area of responsibility will comprise the companies Orkla House Care, Pierre Robert Group and Lilleborg. These companies will have their own development plan going forward based on their specific commercial conditions but will continue to be reported under Orkla Care.

“Lasse has done an excellent job as Interim EVP Orkla Care. He has solid experience and expertise, and I am certain that he will contribute to value creation and growth for the companies in the future, in the unique categories and markets in which they operate,” Andersen says.

As SVP BD, Ruud-Hansen will report to Orkla’s Interim President and CEO. He will step down from Orkla’s Group Executive Board as of 1 June when Nagel Johansen takes over responsibility for Orkla Care.
