Stabburet has been awarded the” Supplier of the Year 2012” prize within the out-of-home channel by NorgesGruppen/ASKO.
The prize was awarded at their customer and supplier meeting in early January in the presence of 320 guests at the Quality Hotel Fornebu. Stabburet also came among the top three within the Service Trade.
The award came after NorgesGruppen had carried out a customer satisfaction survey among more than 550 customers (user sites, wholesalers and chain contacts). In the survey, the suppliers were assessed based on criteria such as cooperation with the chain centrally and locally, sales follow-up in grocery shops in Norway, product and concept innovations, delivery reliability, food safety / good operations, and performance of campaigns.
“This award is highly regarded in the trade. For us it is a confirmation that the work of the whole Stabburet value chain and the sales organisation is noticed. In 2012, Stabburet’s out-of-home channel grew by approximately 10 percent, and we strengthen our market shares within several product groups. The award inspires us to set the bar even higher for achieving new targets in customer work in future,” says Stein-Erik Wendel, Marketing Director for Stabburet’s out-of-home channel.
