Martin Østnor, industrial mechanics millwright at the Nidar factory, has won a gold medal in the Worldskills São Paulo 2015 competition in Brazil.
“I can’t quite grasp it. It hasn’t really sunk in yet. But it’s amazing! I never thought that I would be the one to win the gold medal. I worked hard and made the most of the time I had at my disposal in the competition. I was efficient and focused on quality. Just think, I got the gold medal!” exclaims Martin Østnor to Worldskills.no.
One of the tasks that he was given in Brazil was to make a conveyor belt that uses a hydraulic generator.
