In Orklas transforming journey into a consumer goods company – a key part of is the harmonization’s of process and system. Two projects are currently being run to harmonize our ERP landscape and process.
The benefit for you as suppliers with these two projects are a more harmonized interaction with Orkla with for example improved communication related to ordering, forecasting and invoicing. The end result being a reduced workload for you as suppliers.
Project One – is the main ERP project encompassing four business areas (Orkla Foods Nordics & Baltics, Orkla Foods International, Orkla Confectionary & Snacks and Orkla Care). The first companies are already on the new platform and in the coming years the system will continue to be rolled out.
During the roll-out you as a supplier will be requested to provide information such as material specification and update information about for example your addresses.
Project Dynamics – the second project is the implementation of a unified ERP-system for Orkla Food Ingredients. Implementation is starting in Q4 2019 and will be rolled out over the coming two years.
